National Service & Vietnam War
Gordon Beach 15138 and Mal Grant 12758 have developed a website to record details of members of Victoria Police who were called up for National Service whilst serving Police Officers and also served in Vietnam.
Gordon and Mal have identified 44 such members and woujld like to be able to add photographs of those members both whilst serving police members and also whilst in the Army.
Gordon is aware that there are more than 80 members in total that served in Vietnam, both as National Servicemen and Regular Army who joined Victoria Police after their military service.
Please check the following link if you are interested and one of the members whose information is being sought
