On leaving Victoria Police members move to all corners of the state and indeed the country. They take up all kinds of positions where they offer their services in all types of occupations. Some are in the position to assist fellow members with good quality meals, prime accommodation, hot coffee and pleasant conversation about "how it used to be".

| A Touch of Paradise |
Wayne BEALE 17503 and wife Liz are currently running the Burringbar Post Office, northern NSW approximately 45 km south of Coolangatta/Tweed Heads and about 15 km from the beach.
Wayne says there is no facilities for a caravan but there is a lovely freecamp or outcamp right across the road from the post office and general store. There are toilet facilities and taps available for filling water tanks.
The town has a licenced sports/bowls club open Wednesday to Sunday with meals available. Members have the use of our well landscaped pool and outdoor dining area for a BBQ. We can also assist with a quiet beer or a chardy.
